With just a few simple steps and a minimum amount of supplies, you’ll have a classroom or homeschool day full of joy as they put together this easy Bible craft. You can use this adorable activity at any time of the year. Christmas is also a great time to create this DIY ornament craft to hang on the Christmas Tree.

10 Commandments Craft for Preschoolers Supplies

  • Ten Commandments DIY Template
  • 2 sheets of white cardstock
  • Markers
  • Scissors
  • Small piece of yarn
  • Glue stick

Ten Commandments DIY Ornament Craft Instructions

  1. First print the Ten Commandments template on white cardstock.

2. Now color each commandment with the markers.

3. Then cut out all the commandments.

4. Next, fold each commandment vertically and crease.

5. To connect them, take one commandment and fold it in half, put glue on the right side of the fold, place the left side of the next commandment on this glue.

6. Repeat this gluing pattern until the last commandment is placed.

7. Now before you glue the last commandment to the first one to complete the ball shape, take the string and place it inside along the folds.

8. Next, complete the ball shape by gluing the right side of the last commandment to the right side of the first one.

9. Tie a loop at the top and a knot at the bottom to finish the craft.

10 Commandments Craft Supplies

  • PDF template
  • Cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Markers
  • Glue stick

10 Commandments Instructions

  1. Start by printing out the 10 Commandments templates on cardstock.

2. Then color the little pictures on the templates.

3. Next cut along the dashed line around each commandment.

  1. Now take one commandment and fold it in half, crease the fold.
  1. Unfold and glue from the left bottom corner up and around to the right bottom corner, making a “M” shape. Do not glue the bottom, this is where your finger goes in. Fold again and press to seal.
  1. Repeat this folding and gluing process with the rest of the commandments.
  1. Once the glue is set, you can pinch the two sides inward to pop out the center of the puppet so your finger can go inside. Use a capped marker to make space a little bigger.
  1. Repeat with the rest of the commandments and place on your fingers.
  1. All done! Congratulations, you’ve got 10 fun fingers with our 10 Commandments Craft!

Moses Parts The Red Sea Bible Craft

Looking for some adorable and easy Moses crafts for your homeschool, Sunday School or schooling at home? We’ve been sharing with you these super cute bible crafts like Two Greatest Commandments and Treasures in Heaven. Here is another way to show Moses’ faith in God with our Moses Parts the Red Sea Craft!

Where is the Story of Moses Parting the Red Sea?

The true account of Moses parting the Red Sea with his staff in hand can be found in the book of Exodus Chapter 14 of the Holy Bible. It’s a wonderful story of a faithful man who trusted God when it looked bleak that he would provide salvation to his people. It’s a great story to teach our children how faith is a huge part of our love for God.

Moses Parts the Red Sea Craft

Our Moses Parting the Red Sea Craft is perfect for preschoolers, Kindergartners, and Elementary age children. With only 7 step by step instructions and staple items in your craft box, it’s a no brainer! Don’t you just love easy to assemble and adorable to make crafts?!!

Moses Parting the Red Sea Materials

Moses Parting the Red Sea Instructions

  1. First print out the Moses Red Sea template on cardstock.

2. Then color the template pieces using the markers. For Moses and the Red Sea craft, color the staff. This template can also be used for a Moses and the 10 Commandments, but for this craft ignore the stone tablets.

3. Now cut all the template pieces out.

4. Next, grab the blue cardstock and cut two strips about 1” x 8.5”. Fold them accordion style.

5. Take the hands and glue one to each ends of the blue accordion pieces.
