Trinity Shamrock Craft
on Oriental Trading
Step 1:
Print and cut out a set of hearts and a stem.
Each page has enough to make two crafts.
You'll also need a small metal brad to
secure them.
Step 2:
Color and decorate the hearts.  We used
colored pencils, but these would look great
with other mediums as well.  A little glitter
on the edges would really make them shine!
Step 3:
Stack your hearts on top of one another.
Insert the brad through all layers.  You
might punch a hole if the brad isn't sharp
enough.
Step 4:
Fold the stem in half and punch the brad
through that as well.  Fold the brad so that
it lays hidden as pictured.
Step 5:
Fan out your hearts for your completed
craft.  Use this during storytelling time or
send home with children.  Show children
how they can refold the layers up
compactly to fit in their pockets and fan
them out during their own retelling.

Preschool St. Patrick's Day
We've got more printables on our
sister site here!
Additionally we have a great craft you can do
with your children.  Print up the template and
color in each hear with greens and pinks.  Cut
out the shapes and fold the stem in half legnth
wise.  Use a small brad to connect them all
together.  This is a great visual you can use in
the classroom or a Bible crafts you can use as
part of your St. Patrick's Day lesson.
St. Patrick's Day isn't just about chocolate and leprechauns, it's a great time to share Jesus with
others!  A shamrock with it's three petals can be used to share the message of the Trinity, God
the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  In fact you can put those words to the tune of
Frere Jacques for an easy way to help children remember.
